Georgetown Lutheran Church is a community
that seeks to GO into the world to serve God and God's people.
At Georgetown Lutheran Church, we hope to help you find
your place and your own way of going into the world to serve God and God's
people. We believe every person has special gifts and something to
offer.
Go with us into the community by:
-
Volunteering at the Georgetown Ministry Center, a coalition
of churches and other organizations united to serve the needs of the disadvantaged
in Georgetown, particularly the homeless and elderly. In conjunction
with this group, we provide shelter to homeless neighbors for three weeks
each winter.
-
Working with the Grate Patrol to provide hot meals to the
homeless community.
-
Brightening someone's day by visiting the sick and homebound
in our congregation and community.
