Stacey is a librarian who retired in April 2022 from American University. She worked for AU for 23 years and felt the time was right to pursue other adventures. Prior to moving to DC in 1999, Stacey received her Master’s in Library Science at UNC, Chapel Hill. She cemented her love of libraries when she had the opportunity to volunteer at the American Library in Geneva, Switzerland, while living there from 1992-1994. Stacey has an MBA from UMass, Boston and a BA from McGill University in Montreal. She spends her time with her partner Sean in their home in Friendship Heights, in her various gardens (perennials and vegetables) and lives vicariously through her adult children (Emma age 26 and Brian age 24), who are fortunate to be living in Luxembourg and Ireland, respectively.
