It's the best thing ever - we love celebrating baptisms at GLC! Adults, infants, and everyone in-between is welcomed by God to the water of baptism to the good news that God loves you no matter what. We baptize in the name of the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and recognize and celebrate Christian baptism from other denominations/traditions. We celebrate the faith milestones of first communion and confirmation when children/families/people are ready, and occasionally offer a class to gather a group for education and preparation to celebrate this milestone. Weddings are a worship service of the congregation, and our pastor and council leaders oversee requests for weddings. We do welcome inquiries from non-members, and invite you to check out our wedding brochure, here. Some of the details listed therein may be slightly outdated (so please ask), but it generally outlines our policies and fees for non-members. Please contact the pastor or church office if you are considering making an inquiry for your wedding.
As a support to the wider community, our pastor may be able to preside at a funeral or memorial service, on or off site. Please contact the church office or pastor if you are considering or need support to remember a loved one and would like a Christian service or pastoral care.
